Tips & Tricks

Tricks:

Problem: Oily hair on the go.
To fix this without having to wash your hair, use a palm sized amount of Johnson's Baby Powder. Flip your head upside down, and apply the powder to your roots, blend it in, so that you cannot see it. The powder absorbs the oil, giving your hair a soft and clean appearence. Smells so good too!!

Problem: Getting mascara on your eyelids when you apply it.
It's really easy to get little traces of mascara on your eyelids when youre applying it to your lashes. This happens to me almost everytime I apply mascara. The trick - take a business card and cover your eyelids with it, apply mascara easily only to the lashes this way! Any mistakes go on the business card and not your eyelid!

Problem: Super straight lashes.
To curl your lashes, and have the curl last all day, the best thing to do is to take your eyelash curler and heat it up under your blow dryer. Check it before you curl your lashes so you don't accidently burn your eyelids! This makes the eyelash curler act just like a hot hair curler. The curl will last all day!

Problem: Redness on the face.
Got red spots or blemishes around your face? Concealer doesn't always cut it for this. Use Visine. sounds weird right? But Visine clears up the redness just like it does in your eyes.

Tips:

Dry Skin? Use liquid concealers and foundations. Mineral and powder foundations will only enhance the appearence of dry skins. Best thing to fix dry skin problems: Use a good scrub 2-3 times a week, and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

Oily Skin? Just the opposite- use mineral foundations and concealer. Don't use makeup? Put some Johnson's baby powder on your face before you go out, rub it in. Smells good and absorbs the oil!

Round faces - apply your blush under your cheek bones, in the hollows of your cheeks. This creates a shadow. Apply a highlighting color on the top of your cheekbones. this illusion will make your face look longer and thinner and give definition to your cheekbones.

Long faces - apply blush only to the apples of your cheeks. This will give you a healthy glowing look, instead of making the angles of your face look too harsh.
